VILLANOVA, PA—The NJIT women's tennis team recorded its 10^th victory of the season with a convincing 6-1 victory at Villanova Sunday.

NJIT (10-6) won two out of three doubles contests and took five out of six singles contests in straight sets to earn the victory at Villanova, who drops to 3-6 on the season.

Highlander pair Ksenia Kuzmneko and Hannelore MacDonald were 8-3 winners at second doubles over Sydney West and Allison Kuse.  Kuzmenko, a double-winner on the day, won by identical scores at first singles, 6-0, 6-0 cruising past Mikelle Mancini.

NJIT's Monika Graff and Martina Tripcovici won 8-2 at third doubles over Wesleigh Donadio and Kate Pette.  Tripcovici was a 6-3, 6-1 winner at third singles over West.

Highlanders Jana Luste won 6-3, 6-4 at fourth singles over Kuse followed by Natalia Melibeu at the fifth spot, 6-2, 6-3 over Donadio and Carolina Zanotta at sixth singles topping Anne Cognetti, 6-0, 6-2.

The Highlander will return to action on April 7 at St. Joseph's.  The match is scheduled for Noon.
