WEST HARTFORD, CT—The NJIT men's tennis team blanked Hartford Sunday afternoon improving to 13-7 on the season.
 
The Highlanders, who posted a 5-2 victory over Hofstra on Saturday won two out of three doubles contests and all six singles contests in straight sets on Sunday at Hartford.
 
Highlander pair Victor Martinez and Petr Rousar picked up an 8-6 victory at first doubles.  Martinez won by identical scores at second singles followed by Rousar at the third spot with a 6-4, 6-1 win.
 
NJIT duo Fraser Croad and Dan Salomon were 8-3 winners at third doubles.  Croad won by identical scores, 6-0, 6-0 at fifth singles while Salomon added a 6-0, 7-6 (7-5) victory at the sixth spot.
 
Freshman Holger Norregaard also won by identical scores at first singles 6-1, 6-1 while Joao Tasca combined for a 6-1, 6-2 victory at fourth singles.
 
The Highlanders have two matches remaining on the 2012 schedule.  NJIT will travel to Army on April 4.
