NEW YORK—The NJIT women's fencing team registered a 1-1 team record Friday at the Columbia Invitational competing against Tufts and host Columbia.
NJIT (5-6) defeated Tufts (15-12) but fell to host Columbia.
The NJIT women's epee squad compiled a 9-9 record Friday led by
Jaila Graham 4-2 overall record. Graham shutout Tufts (3-0) and picked up a win against host Columbia.
Sophomore
Julia Aronov finished with an even record 3-3 picking up three wins against Tufts. Senior
Macarena Maldonado went (2-1) against Tufts while finishing with a 2-4 overall record.
