WEST POINT, NY – The Army men's tennis team recorded its fourth win of the season Friday at Lichtenberg Tennis Center with a 5-2 victory over visiting NJIT.

Freshman Joao Tasca was the only singles winner for the Highlanders Friday at the fourth spot taking Army's Rommel Verano in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3.

The Highlanders won two out of three doubles contests earning one point.  Petr Rousar and Tasca were 9-8 (7-4) winners at second doubles and teammates Fraser Croad and Bryan Keelan notched a 9-7 victory at third doubles.

NJIT (2-5) will return to action on Saturday at 4pm when the Highlanders host Monmouth in The Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Facility.
