BETHLEHEM, PA --The NJIT Highlanders traveled to Lehigh Saturday registering mid-season achievements throughout the team's individual events.
Junior 
Shawn Bryan matched his seasonal best in the 50 freestyle at 22.97.  In addition, by about a tenth of a second he swam a seasonal best in the 100 freestyle with a time of 50.62.
Also, Junior 
Liliette Graca marked a seasonal best in the 100 backstroke by over two seconds with a time of 1:26.42.
Sophomores Nichole Tran and 
Christian Barnard swam seasonal bests in the 100 breaststroke and 100 backstroke with time of 1:32.24 and 1:06.86 respectively.  In addition freshman 
JT Stefan swam a seasonal best in the 200 IM with a time of 2:24.17.
The 200 medley relay placed first which consisted of Stefan, 
Chris Early, 
Victor Razuk and Bryan with a time of 1:50.71.  The 200 freestyle relay consisting of Barnard, Early, Robert Kim and Tran also placed first with a time of 1:51.27.
Head Coach 
Michael Lawson commented, “The seasonal bests swam by many of the Highlanders today are the milestone we needed to achieve in order to reach our goals at the end of year.  With our upcoming Florida training trip in January, great things are expected upon our return to New Jersey.”
Upon their return from their training trip to Florida, the Highlanders will compete again in January 2012 with a meet against Saint Francis on the 14
th and Montclair State the 16
th.
