On the road to start the New Year, the Highlanders found themselves down 5-3 to the Lions of Bryn Athyn College near the end of the 2nd period.  Fortunately Jason Anagnos, Daniel Smith and Edward Vinokur had scored for NJIT or it could have been much worse as the Highlanders looked sluggish on defense after the long Winter break. 

After Corrado Mancini scored unassisted to cut the lead to one goal, the teams went to their respective locker rooms for the second intermission and when they returned it was a whole new game.  NJIT outscored Bryn Athyn 6-1 in the third period to post another impressive comeback victory.

Goal scorers in the third included Anagnos and Vinokur again, as well as forwards Robert Amos and James Wintjen. 

The defense also got into the act as Christopher Pawlik and Greg Maxwell (first career) also scored.  Adam Finkle led all players with four assists, Christopher Oertel had three, while Mancini and Pawlik had two.  Amos and Nick Wujek each had one.
