ITHACA, NY – The NJIT men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at Cornell Saturday afternoon.
Cornell, who is ranked No. 65 in the ITA National Ranking, won all six singles contests in straight sets and swept the doubles points.
Highlander Dan Salomon, competing at fourth singles lost the first set 6-1 but battled in the second set. Cornell's Zhongming Chen won the second set, 7-5.
NJIT will return to action on Saturday when the Highlanders host Sacred Heart at 4pm in The Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Facility.
