NEWARK, NJ –Once again NJIT came out hard and took control of the game with an early goal by Corrado Mancini, assisted by Robert Amos but Bucknell rallied back for a 5-2 win.

Bucknell ran off three straight goals.  By the middle of the second period the tables had turned as NJIT was swarming the Bisons' net. 

In the middle of the second period, Amos, assisted by Nick Wujek, cut the lead to one goal and the Highlander were flying. 

A tie game seemed like a certainty when just a few minutes later a power play gave NJIT a real opportunity. 

Unfortunately that golden opportunity quickly turned to rust as John Carpenter scored a short-handed goal, for Bucknell, to regain a two-goal lead. 

Carpenter added one more in the final period to wrap up the scoring, but for all intents and purposes the short-hander was the end of the game.
