NEWARK, NJ –Highlanders come from behind to win against Seton Hall for third straight victory to open the 2010 season.

Down 3-0 early in the second period the Highlanders fought back and tied the game before the end of the period and went on to score twice more in the third in a fast and furious hockey game. 

Another day - another goal by Alex Guimares and another hat trick for the team. This time Corrado Mancini had the three goals, while his linemates Rob Amos and Nick Wujek (1 goal - 2 assists) played the supporting role.

Alex scored his third goal of the year on the power play off a rebound of a Jason Anagnos blast. 

Once again Michael Lipinski was solid in net with 42 saves.  Many of those came in the pressure packed end of the 3rd period as the Pirates pulled their goalie for an extra attacker.  Stan Pilny, recently converted back to defense had a strong game in only his second start on the blueline.

Five unanswered goals and a come-from-behind victory against a MACHA opponent are both firsts for the NJIT Hockey program.
