NEWARK, NJ—NJIT today announced the hiring of Sandra Brendle as assistant athletic trainer.
Brendle previously served on the athletic training staff at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, as a graduate assistant and on the staff at Greensboro (NC) College as an athletic training student.
A board certified athletic trainer since 2007, she earned her bachelor's degree from Greensboro and her master's degree at Old Dominion in 2009. In addition to working with teams at those institutions, she was on the medical staff of the 2004 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Soccer championships and on the medical staff of the 2008 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball championship first and second rounds.
At NJIT, she will join a staff that includes head athletic trainer Matt Koscs and assistant athletic trainer Paul Grayner.
