TENAFLY, NJ -- The New Jersey Institute of Technology women's tennis team raised its season record to 8-2 with an impressive 7-0 win over visiting Morgan State Saturday night in the Tenafly Racquet Club.

NJIT took all five contested singles matches and swept the doubles contests.

Senior Iulia Doci was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at first singles while teammate Anine Lovdal won by identical scores, 6-1, 6-1 at second singles.  Ana Lidon was victorious at third singles coming out on top 6-2, 6-0.  Fanny Aizier won at the fourth spot 6-0, 6-1 and Dasa Stanimirovic blanked her opponent 6-0, 6-0 at fifth singles.  Isha Toor won by default at sixth singles.

Doci and Lidon rolled, 8-0, in first doubles and the Highlader duo of Lovdal and Aizier won 8-1 at second doubles.  Toor and Stanimirovic were winners at third doubles by default.

The Highlanders return to action Sunday when they travel to West Point, NY and take on Army.  The match is scheduled for 3pm.
