BETHLEHEM, PA – Lehigh defeated NJIT 56-43 in men's swimming Sunday afternoon.
 
The Highlanders picked up points in three events.
 
Freshman Jon Van Ostenbridge and sophomore Andrew Helbers finished side by side in the 100 yard freestyle.  Ostenbridge finished at 57.39 while Helbers clocked in at 58.94.
 
NJIT's Marlon De La Rosa picked up a second place finish in the 200 yard IM at 2:18.15 and Richard Montesano took second in the 100 yard butterfly, 1:05.96.
The NJIT men won the 150 backstroke relay which consisted of Montesano, Pablo Botero and Chris Early.
 
The men's swimming team returns to action on Wednesday when they travel to William Paterson.
