BETHLEHEM, PA – Freshman Andrew Helbers swam a personal-best in the 1000 yard freestyle and Steve Schreyer added a personal-best in the 50 yard freestyle highlighting the day for New Jersey Institute of Technology at Lehigh on Sunday.
Helbers competing in his second meet of the year picked up a second place finish with a time of 12.01.34.
Schreyer swam a personal-best in the 50 yard freestyle at 23.66, good for third place.
Captain Michael Lawson and freshman Frank Lombardi competed in the 100 yard breaststroke while Pablo Botero and senior James Paccioretti were featured in the 200 yard freestyle.
The Highlanders return to action on Saturday when they travel to Lexington, VA to face VMI. The meet is scheduled to start at 1:00pm.
