Zach Cooks scored at least 30 points in back-to-back games as the Highlanders fell twice this week. The junior captain did his part to keep NJIT in each game, scoring a program-record 35 points in Wednesday's loss to Binghamton and adding 30 more, including the 1,000th of his career, in Saturday's loss at Brown. A 2018-19 Second Team All-ASUN selection, Cooks also grabbed seven rebounds and recorded four steals on the week, while averaging 38.5 mpg. Cooks leads the ASUN and ranks fifth in the nation in scoring (25.5 ppg).
