Sophomore Alvaro Gimeno helped NJIT close the season on a positive note, winning the last six out of eight matches, including a thrilling 3-2 victory over Saint Francis U on Senior Night. Gimeno led the Highlanders with 13 kills against Penn State and a match-best 19 kills against Saint Francis U.
