Mitchko placed fifth in the women’s javelin throw with a distance of 38.57 in the Highlanders first outdoor meet of the season.

The sophomore earned four points for the Highlanders, with six good throws.

Mitchko helped the Highlanders grab 11^th placed at the Maryland Invitational.
