Freshman Nicole Maticka ranks in the top 8 in the latest national Division I women's basketball blocked shots, according to the NCAA's official website.

Maticka, who was 11th in blocked shots rankings posted last week, moved up in the ranking to seventh (3.5bpg), after collecting five blocks against Rider on Sunday.

She raised her season total in just eight games to a program Division 1 record, 28.
