Biography

2024-25: America East All-Academic Team... Led the America East in scoring both overall (19.2 ppg) and during conference play (19.8 ppg)... Had fourteen 20+ point performances... Made a three-pointer in every game this season and owns a streak of 45 consecutive games with a three-point make... Finished with 20 points and a career-high nine assists at George Washington (11/18)... Had a stretch of five straight games of 23+ points, including a then-season best 24 points at UMass (12/1)... Scored 23 points and nailed five 3-pointers at Seton Hall (12/4)... Led NJIT to a win over New Hampshire with 19 points, eight assists and five rebounds (1/18)... Dropped 27 points and shot 10-of-22 from the field at UAlbany (1/25)... Had a great all-around performance with 27 points, seven rebounds, six assists and four 3-pointers at UMBC (2/22)... Scored a season-high 29 points and hit a career-best six 3-pointers in the season finale win at Binghamton (3/4).

2023-24: America East Rookie of the Year...Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Rookie of the Year...America East All-Rookie Team...8x America East Rookie of the Week...saw action in 27 games, making 11 starts...led the Highlanders in scoring (14.8 ppg), assists (2.6 apg), and steals (1.5 spg)...scored 10+ points 20 times and 20+ on eight occasions...31 points in team's upset victory over Vermont (2/8) and then scored 26 two days later in another upset victory over UMass Lowell (2/10)...22 points, season-high nine rebounds to help NJIT come back from 22-point halftime deficit and defeat UMBC (1/27).

HIGH SCHOOL: Spent final two seasons at First Love Christian Academy after attending Obama High School in Pittsburgh for first two...helped lead Obama to a City Championship as a freshman and was name First Team All-City.

PERSONAL: Played AAU for Rise High in Pittsburgh and alongside current teammate Sebastian Robinson for NJ Legacy...played final two AAU seasons for the NY Rens in the EYBL...father is a New Jersey native and attended Seton Hall Prep...calls Rutgers Assistant Coach and former Pittsburgh standout Brandon Knight as a mentor and cousin...intends to major in Business.
