During his time at Beat the Streets, Carter managed all of the organization’s communications efforts and led the successful launch of their new brand identity and website.

Prior to Beat the Streets, Carter worked as an athletic communications assistant at four NCAA and NJCAA Division I institutions over an eight-season span: ASA College (2010-13), Howard University (2013-16), University of California, Berkeley (2016-17), and Long Island University Brooklyn (2017-18). His work in and passion for the athletic communications field has been recognized by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) / College Sports Communicators when the organization awarded him with the 2016 University Division Rising Star award and with a third-place finish in the 2022-23 CSC Photography Portfolio of the Year competition.

Carter began his professional career as the Hybrid/Media Manager for the Against All Odds Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created in Newark, N.J.
