2026: America East Second Team. ... started 13 games and was a key defensive presence, collecting at least one ground ball in 13 contests, including a season-high five against Lafayette (Feb. 14). He also forced at least one turnover in 10 games, with a career-best four against Monmouth (March 3), and added an assist at Vermont (March 28).  For the season, Dopona combined for 31 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers.

2025: Appeared in all 12 games with 11 starts...scored his first career goal against Monmouth on March 5...recorded two points (1 G, 1 A) against Wagner on March 8...led the team with 15 caused turnovers...led the America East with 2.00 CTOs per game during conference play...recorded four ground balls and a career-high five CTOs against Binghamton on March 22..picked up a career-high seven ground balls against UAlbany on April 26.

Prior to NJIT: Played football at Incarnate Word in 2023, totaling six tackles and 0.5 sacks...High School | All-State honors in 2022...Defensive MVP for Cascade 80...earned the District 6-6A Defensive Player of the Year in football. earned First Team All-Area and All-District honors in football.
