Kyle Norman joined the NJIT baseball coaching staff in July 2019 as a volunteer assistant under head coach Robbie McClellan.

A 2019 graduate of Monmouth University, Norman played two seasons for the Hawks after transferring from the University of San Fransisco where he played as a freshman and a sophomore. 

Norman started more than 100 games as an outfielder in two seasons at Monmouth, including all 57 during his senior campaign. The Ellicot City, MD, native hit .275 in his final season, while leading the team in runs scored (45) and finishing second in both hits (61) and stolen bases (16).

This followed up a junior season where Norman was named Second Team All-MAAC after hitting .298 with a team-best 12 doubles and wrapping up the season with the second-most RBI (41) and hits (59). 

In his two seasons with the Dons, Norman appeared in 79 games, making 11 starts. 

Norman graduated from Good Counsel Catholic High School in Olney, MD, and completed a post-graduate year at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL.
