Jared Fabian joined the NJIT baseball coaching staff in September 2016 as a volunteer assistant coach after spending the 2015 season as the baseball video coordinator at Ohio University.
The Buffalo, NY native began his coaching career as head coach for the West Virginia University club baseball team, where he had played for four seasons prior. While in graduate school, Fabian managed the team to a regional final appearance.
Prior to joining the NJIT staff, Fabian served as the head coach of the Litchfield Dolphins of the Beach Collegiate Baseball League in 2014.
After a successful first season, in which the Dolphins advanced to the league championship game, the Dolphins captured the Atlantic Division Championship, in the summer of 2015.
Fabian was instrumental in the Mid Atlantic Collegiate League’s inaugural season (summer 2016) as he served as the league’s Assistant General Manager in Virginia Beach, VA.
The young coach on the rise, has a passion for teaching and developing student-athletes to be successful on and off the field. "I am very excited to be joining the staff here at NJIT. This is an exciting time to be a Highlander," he says.
Fabian a 2011 graduate from West Virginia University with an undergraduate degree in Sport Management, received his master’s degree in Sport Management in 2012.
