Athletic Directors Fund
The NJIT Athletic Director's Fund allows your gift to be used to support the greatest need of the athletic department at a particular time. These gifts help meet the needs of the department, program or student-athletes, and provide the department with the greatest flexibility in how these funds are allocated.
Program Support/Sport Specific Giving
Donors may opt to designate their gift to a specific sport or athletic area (Strength and Conditioning, Sports Information, Athletic Training, Facilities). These funds are solely for the benefit of that program and provide greater opportunities for team building, travel, equipment, recruiting requirements, and more.
Endowment of Scholarships and Coaching Positions
An endowment fund is a permanent, self-sustaining source of funding. Each year, a portion of the interest generated by the fund's investment is awarded to the designee; the remainder is reinvested to continue the growth of the fund. In this way, an endowment fund can grow and provide support for its designated purpose in perpetuity. Examples of endowment opportunities at NJIT include: Endowed coaching positions allow NJIT to recruit and retain exceptional and experienced coaches that are focused on developing the excellence of our teams as well as the individual, teamwork, and leadership skills of our athletes. Endowed Scholarships and fellowships enable NJIT to attract the most talented players to our sports teams and fulfill our financial commitment to all of our student-athletes. When you establish an endowment fund, you create a permanent legacy of support for NJIT!
Donors can support a pre-existing endowment or contact

Annual Scholarships
Donors may choose to support a student-athlete through the support of an annual scholarship pledge.
Planned Gift/Bequest
A carefully considered planned gift -- given during one's lifetime or upon one's passing -- can empower a donor to make a significant gift to NJIT, generate a charitable income tax deduction, provide life income, and reduce estate and gift taxes. Donors who make planned gifts to NJIT or include the university in their estate plans are recognized through membership in the 1881 Society.
Create A Lasting Legacy
Over the past several years, NJIT Athletics has realized unprecedented growth with the addition of new sports, the elevation to Division I and the participation in the ASUN Conference. Most recently this growth has been reflected in the construction of the Wellness and Events Center and Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium. Multiple opportunities exist for Highlander Alumni and friends to name areas of the facilities. Opportunities start at $5,000. For more information, please contact Sean Morrison (
