Biography

2024: Pitched in a career-high 21 games, mostly out of the bullpen, but also made two starts...finished second in the America East with six wins and also hd three saves...struck out a career-high 31 hitters...pitched more than 20 consecutive scoreless innings midway through the season....pitched more than four innings on five occasions...earned a three-inning save while not allowing a run in NJIT's opening round win over Binghamton at the America East Conference Tournament...allowed just one hit and struck out three in 4.1 innings of work vs. Quinnipiac (4/13)...struck out a career-high six in 4.2 innings out of the bullpen vs. Bryant (5/4).

2023: Moved into a weekend start role, starting the final game of all 14 series on the mound...struck out a season-high five batters vs. Purdue (2/26)...pitched six innings of one-run ball against NC State (3/5)...allowed only two runs in six innings at Missouri (3/12)...tossed six shutout innings at VCU (3/19)...pitched seven shutout innings at LIU (4/16).

2022: Saw action in 18 games as a pitcher, making a pair of starts...finished the season 2-0 with victories against UAlbany (3/26) and at Binghamton (5/8)...led the squad with three saves...struck out three hitters on three different occasions.

2021: Did not see any game action due to injury.

2020: Did not see any game action.

2019: Appeared in 19 games, including two starts. ... went 1-2 with one save, registering a 5.20 ERA, in 27.2 innings of work, fanning 11 batters. ... first collegiate win vs. Big Ten opponent Purdue (Mar. 9). ... first collegiate save vs. Jacksonville (Mar. 30). 

Prior to NJIT: Georgini joins the Highlanders from Arizona, as a three-time Rawlings Honorable Mention All-American and first-team All-Arizona Region and District.  In 2018, Mountain View High School advanced to the Arizona 6A High School semifinals and in 2016 captured the 17U National Champions/Perfect Game.  Georgini played summer ball for AZ T-Rex baseball club.
