Biography
2023: Played in 17 matches (16 starts)...named to the America East All-Academic team...finished the year with nine points (2 G, 5 A) after only registering one assist and no goals across three previous seasons between NJIT and Valparaiso. set an NJIT Division I single-game record against Saint Peter's with six points (2 G, 2 A)...named America East Offensive Player of the Week on Aug. 21...also added a pair of assists in the comeback win over FDU on Sept. 3 and helped set up the game-winning goal in the come-from-behind triumph at UMBC on Sept. 28.
2022: Appeared in 15 contests in her second year at NJIT, starting 14...had a stretch of three straight 90 minute matches (Sept. 11 at Saint Peter's, Sept. 14 vs Monmouth, Sept. 18 at Maine).
2021: Started 11 of her 12 games in her first season at NJIT... set up the winning goal in the Highlanders' win over UAlbany on October 24.
Prior to NJIT: As a freshman at Valparaiso in 2020 (season played in Spring 2021 due to COVID-19), Zalot saw action in a pair of games for a Valpo team that made a run to the Missouri Valley Conference championship game...A three-time All-League selection for Pennsbury High School...helped lead side to four league championships and a district title...Pennsbury also made two appearances in the Pennsylvania 4A state tournament...earned a spot in a senior All-Star game...played club for FC Bucks 2002 ECNL...has been an ECNL PDP selection.
