Three-year Team Captain

2022:
Finished career as NJIT's all-time leader in career batting average (.314), hits (233), runs (162), RBI (139), doubles (60), and tied for home runs with classmate Paul Franzoni (29)...set single-season record for runs (50), walks (32), doubles (23)...23 doubles led the America East...20 multi-hit games including four three-hit games, and a four-hit contest against UMass-Lowell (4/2)...two home runs in America East Tournament win over top-seeded Maine (5/27)...Academic All-America East.

2021: Second Team All-Region...First Team All-America East...America East All-Academic...led team in several offensive categories including batting average (.322), HR (10) and RBI (D1 Program Record 42)...hit critical home run late against Albany to tie the game in the America East Tournament first round...was named America East Conference Player of the Week after slashing.538/.600/1.308, driving in 11 runs and scoring 10 as the Highlanders swept a four-game series at UMBC...17 multi-hit games, including four games with three hits.

2020: One of four Highlanders to start all 16 games in season cut short due to COVID-19 Pandemic...led the squad in SLG% (.452), while finishing second in AVG (.306)...recorded three, three-hit games, including the season-opener vs. Monmouth (2/14)...was 3-for-6 vs. Bucknell (2/29), while tallying five RBI and coming around to score three times...knocked in three runs at Longwood (2/23).

2019: Batted .309 (15th in the ASUN), which ranked third on the team, second with 31 RBI and third with 51 hits. … his eight home runs topped the Highlanders and ranked fourth in the ASUN. … finished with a .509 slugging percentage (7th in the ASUN) and .415 on-base percentage (11th in the ASUN).

2018: Selected to the Freshman All-American team by the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper and becomes the first NJIT athlete to earn Freshman All-American recognition since competing at the Division I level. ... named to the ASUN second-team and All-Freshmen team. ... led NJIT in hitting with a .352 average on the season (which ranks third in the ASUN). ... ranks fourth on the team in hits (44), second in doubles (14) and fourth in RBI (19). ... combined for two homeruns, first against Saint Peter's (Apr 10) and second against Lipscomb at the ASUN Baseball Championships -- a solo shot in the top of the ninth.

Prior to NJIT: The 5-foot-10 infielder from Obra D. Tompkins High School, was selected Honorable Mention Texas Region and Newcomer of the Year.  Marcano helped Tompkins to first-ever UIL Region playoff appearance and played for the Hunter Pence Baseball Academy.
