HIGHLIGHTS:

• Set NJIT's single-season record with 264 rebounds in 2016-17 (previously 262 set by Tim Coleman in 2015-16) 
• Set the program single-game record with 21 rebounds 1/19/19 vs. Jacksonville (prev: 19, Abdul Lewis, 1/19/17)
• Transferred from University of South Alabama (Sun Belt Conference) in Mobile following the 2014-15 season
• NJIT’s all-time leading rebounder with 773 boards (prev: 762, Tim Coleman)
• Eclipsed 1,000 career points (1,015, NJIT & 232, South Alabama) and reached 1,000 career rebounds (773, NJIT & 227, South Alabama)

2014-15 (SOUTH ALABAMA):
• As a freshman, appeared in all 33 games (started 27) for the Jaguars
• Averaged a team-leading 6.7 rpg -- which ranked seventh in the Sun Belt
• Ranked fifth on USA at 7.0 ppg; posted a .468 FG% (88-for-188)
• Reached double-figure scoring totals in eight games
• Posted a career-high 17 points on two occasions: 12/6 vs. Middle Tennessee & 2/21 @ Georgia Southern
• Registered nine double-figure rebounding games, with a high of 13 on 2/21 @ Georgia Southern
• Had two double-doubles: 12/6 vs. Middle Tennessee (17 pts, 12 reb) & 2/21 @ Georgia Southern (17, 13)

High School:
Abdul Lewis was a standout for two New Jersey state champion teams at Newark’s East Side High School... Born in Newark, Lewis was All-State Group 3, All-Essex County, All-Newark, and All-Super Essex Conference following a senior season that saw East Side claim a second consecutive state crown and post a 30-2 record for a team ranked second in the state. He averaged 11.2 points and 10.5 rebounds. Abdul was second-team All-Newark and Essex County All-Junior after his team capped his junior year with a Group 3 state title...
