2015: Appeared in and started in all 48 games, playing first base and center field for the Highlanders in his senior season. ... second in the school record books with 214 career hits. ... recorded a .319 batting average, leading the team in total bases (107) hits (60 -tied for first), runs scored (46), runs batted in (38), home runs (9), and triples (3). ... recorded 15 stolen bases. ... named NJIT Male Athlete of the Week (5/18). ... in his career appeared in 187 games (third on the all-time list), had 707 at bats ( third on the all-time list), with a career batting average of .303 (first in DI era), 136 runs (first on the all-time list), 214 hits ( second on all-time list), 45 doubles (second on all-time list), 18 homeruns (fourth on all-time list), nine triples (fourth on all-time list), 127 RBIs (second on all-time list), 556 putouts and a career fielding percentage of .966.

Summer 2013:
Starred in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League for the champion Amsterdam (NY) Mohawks and was named the 6th-best professional prospect in the league by Perfect Game, which, in addition to lending its name to the upstate NY-based league, offers scouting analysis of college and high school players, as well as sponsoring high school showcase events throughout. ...Charlton slugged 6 homers in 2013, following a 7-homer 2012, which made him the PGCBL career home run leader for the loop that completed its third season.  In 2013, he batted .300, with 8 doubles, a triple, the 6 home runs, 29 runs scored and 33 driven in over 45 games. Charlton, who has won championships both years in the league, was Player of the Week once in both 2012 and 2013.

2013: Great West Conference second-team honoree. ... Charlton, NJIT's best all-around player, playing excellent defense in center field, batting .294, with 8 doubles, 4 triples, 3 home runs, and 24 runs batted in. He was also successful on 16 of 19 steal attempts. He did that despite a hamstring injury that kept him completely out of seven games and which first came in the midst of a 2-for-4, 3 RBI game against defending GWC champ Utah Valley. He batted .342 in 21 conference games.

Summer 2012:  Ranked 30th as a top pro prospect in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League. ...Charlton was fourth among outfielders, third among outfielders in his class ... he played on the Amsterdam (NY) Mohawks, who ran away with the regular season title, posting a 35-12 record, some eight full games ahead of second-place Glens Falls. Amsterdam's league-record 35 wins and .745 winning percentage earned it recognition as the third-best college summer league team in the country. ...Charlton, who appeared in 36 games and started 33, batted .353 and tied for the team lead with 31 runs scored. He finished with six doubles, three triples, seven home runs and 30 RBI. His on-base percentage was .424.

2012: The freshman center fielder, batting leadoff, finished a season that saw him named New Jersey College Baseball Association Division I Rookie of the Year with a .315 average to go with 15 doubles (2nd on NJIT), two triples (tied for second), two home runs, and 31 RBI (3rd), along with a team-best 15 stolen bases in 18 tries.

Prior to NJIT: An outfielder/pitcher at St. Augustine Prep of Richland, NJ, the state Non-Public A champion, was selected first-team, all-group, All-State by the Star Ledger meaning he was tabbed as one of New Jersey's top 14 high school players for 2011. He batted .465, with 9 home runs and 39 runs batted in out of the leadoff spot in the order. He was also 5-0 on the mound with a 2.39 earned run average. ...The Daily Journal of Vineland, NJ, announced its all-area teams and Charlton, was named the paper's 2011 High School Baseball Player of the Year and was named to the paper's all-star team. ...Charlton was also announced as the area Player of the Year by The Press of Atlantic City. ...The center fielder has been a star for St. Augustine Prep since his sophomore season, when he led his league in batting average (.529), doubles (12), and triples (4), while getting 39 total hits and earning first-team all-Cape Atlantic League honors, as well as all-state first team in Non-Public ‘A’, as well as participating in the Carpenter Cup, an all-star tournament sponsored by the Philadelphia Phillies. As a junior, Charlton batted .400 and had 30 hits and was honorable mention all-league. And last summer, he again batted .400, with 20 hits, including six doubles and seven triples. He was also a standout wide receiver in football.
