HIGHLIGHTS:

• Nominated for Atlantic Sun Conference All-Academic Team in 2015-16
• Honored by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) on its annual Honors Court for his combined academic and athletics success in 2013-14
• Transferred from Saint Louis University following the 2011-12 season (did not play/received red shirt)


2015-16:

• In A-Sun Conference Play: Ranked tied for 11th in offensive rebounding (1.6) and 24th in total rebounding (4.5)
• Last 16 G: Averaged 2.8 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 2.3 apg in 21.1 mpg (44, 76, 36, 337)
• Had multiple offensive rebounds in 9 of the last 17 G, averaging 1.4 o-rpg (24) in span
• 3/24 vs. UT Arlington (CIT): Dished out a season-high 6 assists to go along with 3 rebounds and 2 steals
• 3/1 vs. Stetson: Led team and tied career-high with 9 rebounds; also chipped in 2 points and 2 assists in 17 M
• 2/20 at Jacksonville: Tied season-high with 5 assists; added 8 points and 5 rebounds in a season-high tying 27 M
• 2/18 at UNF: Grabbed a game-high 7 rebounds (2 offensive) while adding 5 points and an assist
• 1/27 vs. Lipscomb: Set a season-high with 8 rebounds (3rd straight G with 3+ offensive rebounds), added 2 assists
• 1/24 vs. UNF: Solid all-around performance with 6 points, 5 rebounds (3 offensive), 2 assists and a block in 20 M
• 1/2 vs. UMBC: Grabbed a game-high and season-high 7 rebounds, also added an assist in 21 minutes 
• 11/29 vs. UMFK: Posted season-high 10 points (4-4, 2-2) and 5 rebounds w/ game-highs in assists (5) and steals (4)
• 11/27 at UAlbany: Scored a then career-high 5 points (1-1, 1-1, 2-2) in 10 minutes
• 11/14 at #2 Kentucky: Played 20 minutes and registered two rebounds and an assist

2014-15:

• Started NJIT’s final 15 games... only other start was Opening Day (11/14 at St. John’s)
• Last seven games: 32 points after 19 in first 26 games... Averaged 4.6 ppg while shooting .542 (13-24)
• 3/23 vs. Cleveland State (CIT): Provided early spark, scoring five points (2-2 FG, 1-1 3FG) and a steal in 5 minutes
• 2/28 vs. Sarah Lawrence (DIII): Recorded career-highs in points (16), rebounds (9) and steals (5)
• 2/2 vs. Hampton: Had a career-high four assists to go with five rebounds and a steal in 17 minutes
 

2013-14:

• Appeared in 26 of the team’s 29 games, with five starts
• 2/6 vs. Wheelock (DIII): Scored nine points (4-7) with three rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal 
• 12/7 vs. UMass Lowell: 13 points (4-5, 3-3, 2-2). With team struggling, scored 8 points in first 4:39 after entering
• 11/15 at Army: Made his first start of NCAA career; finished w/ four points, two rebounds and one assist in 24 min.
 

2012-13:

• Was not able to compete under NCAA transfer rules
 

2011-12:

• Did not see action with Saint Louis University; received a redshirt
 

HIGH SCHOOL:

Attended American College of Anatolia while growing up in Greece... selected Athlete of the Year (2008 & 2011)... named MVP in the Kalamata Tournament... earned Olympic bronze medal in first official youth Olympics in 2010...  played for Greece in the U-18 European Championships... Club ball for the Academy of Asteria...
 

PERSONAL:

Emmanuel Anthony Tselentakis... son of Anthony and Linda Louise Tselentakis... business major... grandfather (Richard Mitchell) graduated from NJIT (at the time called Newark College of Engineering) and mother (Linda Louise) played basketball for UVA... born 5/24/93 in Englewood, NJ, but spent most of his youth in his father’s native Greece...
