Biography

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Finished career with 1,139 points, which ranks fifth in the D-I era and tied for 21st all-time
• Become the fifth member of NJIT’s D-I 1,000-point club at Lipscomb on 2/1/16
• Finished career with 535 rebounds, which ranks third in the D-I era
• Become the 2nd member of NJIT’s 500-rebound club in the D-I era at UNF on 2/18/16
• Finished career with 416 assists, which ranks first in the D-I era and third all-time 
• Finished career ranked tied for 54th in the nation in assists (416) among NCAA Division-I active career leader
• One of just three Highlanders to have reached both 1,000 points and 500 rebounds (Isaiah Wilkerson, Tim Coleman)
• Had at least one point, rebound and assist in 108 of 113 contests in his career (had 44 straight, 11/14/14-2/18/16) 
• His only game in career without a rebound was in his first as a freshman, 11/10/12 @ Providence (19 minutes)
• Dad, Maurice, was drafted in second round by Cleveland of 1976 NBA Draft (Maryland); Played two years in NBA

• 12/12 at Columbia: Again tied career-high 23 points in 2nd straight game; added game-high 7 assists and 4 rebounds
• 12/10 at St. Francis: Tied career-high w/ 23 points & added 10 rebounds for 2nd double-double of year, 5th of career
• 11/27 at UA: Left game early (concussion symptoms), had 9 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists in 23 minutes  
• 11/16 at USF: Posted his fourth career double-double (10 points, 10 rebounds) with two assists and four steals
• 11/14 at #2 Kentucky: Scored 13 points (4-8, 1-1, 4-6) with two rebounds and an assist

2014-15 (JR):

• Finished as the team’s per-game leader in rebounds (5.7) and assists (3.9); fourth-leading scorer (10.9)
• Led team in rebounding in 10 of his 17 games; including a career-high 12 vs. UML (11/22)
• Injured ankle against Yale (1/9) and ruled “out for season;” missed 10 games but returned for the final five games
• Prior to injury, ranked 12th in Division I in FG% (.520) among guards
• After return (3/4), averaged 7.6 ppg, 6.2 rpg and 3.4 apg in 28.2 mpg over the final five games
• 3/23 vs. Cleveland State (CIT): Drained game-winning trey w/ :19.7 left in the second round of the CIT    
• 3/16 vs. New Hampshire (CIT): Flirted with triple-double, logging 10 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists 
• 3/4 vs. Howard: Returned from 10-game absence (ankle) to post team highs in reboundss (8) and assists (4)
• 12/23 at #7 Villanova: Set NJIT record with 11 assists, also contributed four points and four rebounds
• 12/12 at Holy Cross: Career-high 23 points (7-8 FG, 1-1 3FG, 8-11 FT) w/ game-high five assits
• 12/6 at #17 Michigan: Scored 17 pts (7-9 FG) with five rebounds and a game-high 6 assists in 72-70 win
• 11/22 vs. UMass Lowell: Recorded second double-double of career with 12 points and a career-high 12 rebounds

2013-14 (SO):

• Led team in assists per game (3.9) and set then NJIT record with 105 assists (Damon Lynn 123 in ‘14-15)
• Finished ranked third on team in both scoring (9.1 ppg) & third rebounding (4.2 rpg)
• Led team in assists in 15 games, rebounding in 3 games, blocks in 3 games and steals in 2 games
• Scored in double-figures 10 times, with two double-figure rebound games
• 1/4 at Saint Francis University: Recorded first double-double of NCAA career (10 points, 10 rebounds)

2012-13 (FR):

• Finished as both the second-leading freshman scorer (7.2 ppg) & rebounder (4.6) in the Great West Conference
• Led team in rebounding seven times and grabbed at least eight boards in six affairs... Double-digit scorer eight times
• 2/9 at Chicago State: Missed first double-double of career by a rebound (10 points, 9 rebounds)
