Prior to NJIT: One of three Canadians and one of two from Burlington, Ontario (a suburb of Hamilton on the shores of Lake Ontario) in this signing class, Borschke is a tall player who can help as a central defender or as a holding midfielder. Playing for the Burlington Heat as part of the Burlington Soccer Club, she was part of the 2011 Ontario Cup finalists. She is also a varsity high school player in basketball, volleyball and badminton in addition to being captain and MVP of her school soccer team.
