Prior to NJIT: Star-Ledger 1st-team all-West Jersey and New Jersey Herald 1st-team all-area at Sparta High School for coach Sam Slobodzian ... Sussex County League (SCIL) champions (2009) ... led league in total hits (44) and school-record 15 doubles, and batted .440 with two triples and 26 runs scored ... played mostly in the outfield, but also played at third base and pitched … played for Iron Area Baseball in the summer.
