Biography

Brings talent and versatility to NJIT, where he should be a key player from day one.

 

Coach Callahan on Moreno: "He will play both corner infield positions and see some time on the mound, too. He will be an impact bat in the middle of the order.”

 

Prior to NJIT: Two-way star who helped lead Cranford High to the Group III Section II championship and the Union County championship (2007) ... as a pitcher, he was 8-3 with a 3.44 ERA in 65 innings ... when not on the mound, Moreno batted .455 with 5 home runs and 38 RBI. ... first-team all-Group III and first-team All Union County for coach Dennis MacCaffery .... played summer ball with the Roselle Legion.
