NEWARK, NJ – Four NJIT men's swimmers have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team: Oxford Bayley, Bartosz Bryg, Michael McGillycuddy, and Zac Kuzak.

The CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes student-athletes for their excellence in both athletics and academics. Honorees must be key contributors to their team's success while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Bayley, a native of Nelson, New Zealand, earns his second CSC Academic All-District selection and is also a two-time America East All-Academic Team honoree. A mechanical engineering major with a 3.942 GPA, Bayley has been named to the Dean's List seven times. He was a member of the 2025 ECAC runner-up team, helping the Highlanders compile 18 finals appearances, including five A finalists, five B finalists, and eight C finalists.

Kuzak, from Kirkland, Quebec, Canada, also garnered his second CSC Academic All-District honor. A financial technology major, he holds a perfect 4.0 GPA and has earned Dean's List recognition seven times. A two-time team captain, Kuzak contributed to NJIT's 2025 ECAC runner-up finish, which featured 18 finals appearances.

Beyond the pool, Kuzak has distinguished himself as a leader in student-athlete advocacy, serving as one of two NJIT representatives in the America East Conference. A standout in the Martin Tuchman School of Management, he has worked as a data analyst at RBC Wealth Management for the past two summers. He also mentors nearly 25 undergraduate business students and was selected to help instruct the college's new AI bootcamp for incoming freshmen.

Bryg, a computer science major with a 3.88 GPA, is a two-time CSC Academic All-District selection. He recorded two second-place finishes in NJIT's meet against Lafayette, placing in the 100 breaststroke (59.58) and 200 breaststroke (2:10.81).

McGillycuddy, a native of Nanuet, N.Y., is a computer science major with a 3.90 GPA. This season, he placed second in the 200 backstroke (2:00.38) and fourth in the 100 backstroke (54.17).
