Campagnola, Jenkins and Fukuhara Receive 2026 Big South All-Conference Honors

NEWARK, NJ -- Riccardo Campagnola, Wil Jenkins and Soma Fukuhara were named to the 2026 Big South Conference Men's Tennis postseason teams, the league office announced Wednesday.

Campagnola was named the Big South Scholar-Athlete of the Year and named to the All-Academic Team. Campagnola is a Financial Technology major and maintains an outstanding 3.921 GPA. On the court, the sophomore from Zane, Italy went 11-2 in singles competing at both the No. 3 and No. 4 positions.

Jenkins was named to the First Team All-Conference Doubles Teams and the Second Team All-Conference Singles. On the court, the senior from Neath, Wales went 10-6 in singles competing at the No. 1 position and 12-1 in doubles also at the No.1 position.

Fukuhara was named to the First Team All-Conference Doubles Teams and the Second Team All-Conference Singles. On the court, the sophomore from Karatsu, Japan went 14-10 in singles competing primarily at the No. 2 position and started two matches this season at the No.1 position. For doubles, Fukuhara went 19-4 competing at both the No. 1 and No. 2 positions.

The Highlanders earned the #2 seed ahead of the Big South Men's Tennis Championship and will compete in the semifinals on Friday, the 17th.

Next Up
The Highlanders will face the winner of the Longwood/Bryant match in the semifinals on Friday, the 17th with first serve scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
