RESULTS

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.
-- The NJIT men's tennis team closes the regular season with tenth straight win at Hofstra, 5-2, on Saturday afternoon.

The Highlanders opened the afternoon by taking control in doubles play. The top-flight pair of Wil Jenkins and Soma Fukuhara delivered a 6-3 victory at No. 1 doubles, while Nejc Skorjanc and Yerassyl Bakhtiyar followed with a commanding 6-1 win at No. 2 to secure the early 1-0 advantage.

In singles action, the Highlanders earned key wins across the middle of the lineup to clinch the match. Fukuhara posted a convincing 6-1, 6-3 victory, while Riccardo Campagnola battled through a tight three-set contest to earn a 6–2, 4–6, 1–0 decision. Maxime Hankins added another point with a strong 6-1, 6-3 performance.

The Pride collected singles victories at the top and fourth positions, but the Highlanders' early doubles success and consistency through the middle courts proved decisive in securing the road win.

The victory marks the Highlanders' tenth consecutive win, continuing an impressive stretch that began after an earlier loss to Drexel. During the streak, the Highlanders have earned wins over Bucknell, Monmouth, Bryant, Binghamton, Quinnipiac, Baruch, Temple, Army West Point, and now Hofstra.
