NEWARK, N.J. -- Lorenzo Camilleri has been named America East Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.

The freshman first baseman from Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey was honored by the conference after going 7 for 11 at the plate (.636 BA) with 8 RBIs, two home runs, and a double this past weekend at Bryant. Camilleri also drew five walks and scored four runs. 

This is Camilleri first #AEBASE Rookie of the Week honor of the season.
