NEWARK, NJ — Sophomore Wiktor Nowak has been named the EIVA Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Nowak powered the No. 20 Highlanders to a come-from-behind victory at Princeton on Saturday evening, recording 28 kills while hitting an impressive .571. He also added three digs and two total blocks in the win.

With the victory, NJIT improved to 13-6 overall and 5-1 in EIVA action.

NJIT returns to action next weekend with a pair of matches at No. 16 Penn State on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday and 3 p.m. on Saturday. Both matches will be streamed on B1G+.
