LEXINGTON, VA—NJIT freshman Yonatan Ahdut secured a second-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:26.57, contributing 17 points to the team's score on day two of the 2026 America East Conference Swim Championships hosted by VMI inside the VMI Aquatic Center.
NJIT placed sixth in the 200-yard freestyle relay, clocking in at 1:22.27, and earning 26 points.
Mohamed Walid placed tenth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.84.
Vincent Coppola participated in the 200-yard IM, finishing 14th with a time of 1:53.23.
NEXT UP
Day three of competition will begin with the swimming prelims at 10:00 a.m., diving final at 1:50pm and and the swimming finals at 5:00 p.m. All events can be watched live on ESPN+.
