NEWARK, NJ–Eighteen NJIT men's and women's fencing student-athletes were named to the 2025 All-Academic Team by the United States Fencing Coaches Association (USFCA), the organization announced.
The NJIT women's fencing team registered a 3.46 GPA to earn Women's Team All-Academic honors while the men's fencing team posted a 3.34 GPA to earn Men's Team All-Academic honors.
Nine men were named to the All-Academic team and three were selected to the Scholar of Distinction.

The USFCA recognizes the individual student-athletes and teams based on their combined Fall and Spring semester GPAs (or Fall and Winter quarter GPAs). All-Academic Team honors are presented to those student-athletes at member institutions who had an in-season GPA of 3.3 or higher. Scholar of Distinction honors are presented to those student-athletes at member institutions who had an in-season GPA of 3.7 or higher.
