Four Track and Field Athletes Selected to CSC Academic All-District Team

NEWARK, N.J. - Four NJIT track and field athletes were selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team on Tuesday, including Anthony Dvorsky, Kimmie Harding, Sanai Jenkins, and Andrew Sabeh.
 
Dvorsky, a Computer Science major, holds a 3.904 GPA and has been named to the Dean's List eight times. He broke the school record in the indoor 5,000m with a personal-best time of 14:38.22 at the Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invite. Dvorsky posted a personal-best 3,000m time of 8:30.28 at the America East Indoor Championships. He set the school record in the 10,000m with a personal-best time of 30:21.15 at the Bucknell Bison Invite. The Newton, New Jersey native earned All-East honors in the 3,000m (2nd / 8:36.79) and 5,000m (8th / 14:56.18) at the IC4A Outdoor Championships.
 
Harding, a Mechanical Engineering major, boasts a 3.932 GPA and has been named to the Dean's List six times. She recorded a personal-best 3,000m time of 10:41.70 at the Fastrack National Invite. Harding clocked a personal-best 5,000m time of 18:14.85 at the Sam Howell Invite. She broke the school record in the 10,000m with a personal-best time of 37:06.15 at the Bucknell Bison Invite.
 
Jenkins, a Biology major with a 3.526 GPA, has been named to the Dean's List five times. She ran a personal-best 600m time of 1:38.53 at the Seahawk Shootout. She clocked a personal-best 400m time of 59.14 at the Dr. Sander Invitational. Jenkins posted a personal-best 500m time of 1:16.10 to finish sixth at the America East Indoor Championships. She earned All-East honors in the 4x400m relay (4th / 3:51.94) and 500m (1:17.49) at the ECAC Indoor Championships. She ranked fifth in the America East with a season-best 400m hurdles time of 1:03.28 at the TCNJ Lions Invitational.
 
Sabeh, a Business major, has a 3.71 GPA and has been named to the Dean's List four times. He set the program record in the weight throw with a personal-best 17.13m to earn All-East honors at the IC4A Indoor Championships. He posted a personal-best discus throw of 40.14m at the Sam Howell Invite. Sabeh broke the school record in the hammer throw with a personal-best 54.38m at the Bucknell Bison Invite. He earned All-East honors in the hammer throw (8th / 50.31m) at the IC4A Outdoor Championships.
