Box Score Providence, RI- The NJIT men's tennis team dropped a tight road matchup at Brown, 4-3, on Sunday afternoon.
Pablo Perez Ramos kept his strong stretch of play in singles continuing, downing Alex Finkelstein of Brown in straight sets, 7-6, 6-2.
Oscar Callo von Platen edged out a gutsy win in No. 3 singles, overcoming a first set loss to Brown's Oliver Worth to claim the match in three sets, 2-6, 7-5, 6-3.
Maxime Hankins was able to nab the other singles point for NJIT, fending off a second set victory from James Lian to capture set three, 6-3, 2-6, 7-6, on the No. 5 court.
