Newark, N.J. - Due to inclement weather in the forecast in Maine this weekend, the scheduled series in Orono between NJIT and Maine has been moved to Yogi Berra Stadium. First pitch on Friday night is slated for 6 p.m., while Saturday's game will get underway at 7:45 p.m. The series final on Sunday is slated for a 1 p.m. start. All three games can be seen on AmericaEast.TV.

Due to the change, the next series between the Highlanders and Black Bears which was scheduled for April 25-27 in Little Falls, N.J. will now be played on Maine's campus.

NJIT is entering this week on a four-game winning streak, most recently completing a three-game sweep of UMBC to open America East play over the weekend. Ray Ortiz has paced the offense this season with a team-leading .353 average, six home runs and 20 RBI.
