NEWARK, N.J. – Cameron Piggee of NJIT men's basketball has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.

The award honors student-athletes for their work on the court and in the classroom as they must be a key part of their team's on-the-court success, while also carrying a 3.50 or better cumulative GPA.

Piggee appeared in 28 games for the Highlanders this season after redshirting during his first year in Newark. The North Brunswick, N.J. native averaged 1.8 points per game off the bench for the Highlanders. In the classroom, Piggee owns a 3.708 cumulative GPA in NJIT's business program.
