PHILADELPHIA, PA – The NJIT men's basketball team struggled on the road at Drexel in a non-conference match up as the Highlanders fall to the Dragons 75-43.
The Highlanders started off the game in their biggest scoring drought so far this season at over four minutes. Over that stretch Drexel was able to capitalize going on their biggest run of the game of 10-0.
NJIT went into the break down by 14 points and shot 6-26 (23.1%) and 1-10 from deep (10%) and finished the game shooting 12-52 from the field (23.1%) and 3-24 from behind the arc (12.5%).
Leading the way for the Highlanders was sophomore
Ari Fulton who had another solid performance with 13 points and eight rebounds.
Sophomore
Malachi Arrington followed with nine points and three rebounds, and freshman
David Bolden scored eight points and grabbed four rebounds.
