Box Score NEWARK, N.J. – The NJIT men's tennis team capped off a 2-0 weekend on Sunday afternoon with a convincing 7-0 victory over LIU.

The doubles portion of the match went just as Saturday's match went, with the top two doubles pairings for NJIT earning victories. Pablo Perez Ramos and Nejc Skorjanc earned a win in No. 1 doubles, 6-2, while Wil Jenkins and Soma Fukuhara won their match, 6-1, in No. 2 doubles.

In singles, Perez Ramos won handily in No. 1 singles, 6-3, 6-1, while Skorjanc took home a win in the No. 2 slot, 6-2, 6-4. Fukuhara fought hard to take the victory in his match in No. 3 singles, going the distance to earn the victory, 7-5, 3-6, 10-6. Other NJIT singles victories came courtesy of Maxime Hankins (6-2, 6-0) and Tom Sorin (6-3, 6-1) in No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively.

The Highlanders return to action next weekend with three matches, starting with a doubleheader on Saturday against Siena at 10 a.m. and Lafayette at 6 p.m.
