400m Freestyle Heats
NEWARK, NJ–NJIT men's swimming and diving incoming freshman Ilias El Fallaki will represent Morocco at the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
El Fallaki, who will attend NJIT in the Fall 2024 and plans to major in business at NJIT's Martin Tuchman School of Management, will compete in the men's 400m freestyle on Saturday, July 27, representing Morocco.
Hailing from Seville, Spain, El Fallaki, the Moroccan National record holder in the 800m freestyle made his international debut competing at the World Junior Championships in September '23 in Israel and World Aquatic Championships in February '24, where he set the Moroccan National record in 800m freestyle.
El Fallaki is a three-time 2024 African Championships finalist (400m freestyle - fourth, 200m butterfly - sixth, 200m freestyle - seventh).
