FAIRFAX, VA–NJIT's Antonio Feliciano notched a match-best 15 kills but it wasn't enough as No. 17 George Mason defeated visiting NJIT, 3-1, Friday evening in men's volleyball EIVA Conference action.

NJIT (8-9 overall, 0-4 EIVA) won the first set 25-21 but George Mason (8-7, 3-2 EIVA) won the next three in close sets, 25-21, 25-23 and 25-21 to secure the 3-1 home victory.

The Patriots also swept the regular season series from the Highlanders after winning, 3-1 in Newark on February 16.

In addition to Feliciano's match-best 15 kills, Will Migdal and Alessandro Negri each combined for 10 kills.  Feliciano combined for a .500 hitting percentage while Migal registered a .556 hitting percentage in the loss.

Setter Griffin Fieseler recorded a double-double 39 assists and 10 digs for the Highlanders.  Andrew Fedmasu and Feliciano each combined for three total blocks (one solo, two assists).

NJIT will return to action next week when the Highlanders visit No. 1 Grand Canyon on March 15 at 6pm (MT)/8pm (ET) and March 16 at  4pm (MT)/6pm(ET).
