Women's Tennis Takes Down Saint Joseph's On The Road

PHILADELPHIA — The NJIT women's tennis team picked up a 6-1 victory over the Saint Joseph's Hawks Wednesday evening at the SJU Tennis Complex.

The Highlanders (13-3) returned to the win column with its ninth win this spring conceding one or fewer points. NJIT won three of its five singles flights in straight sets and fended off Saint Joseph's (2-9) in three sets for the other two wins. 

The doubles point set the visitors up for success as NJIT rebounded from losing the third flight by convincingly winning the second and edging out the Hawks in the first.

NJIT returns to Philadelphia in two weeks to take on Drexel. First serve is scheduled for Noon.
