NEWARK, NJ–The NJIT women's tennis team continued play at the 2024 ITA Division I Women's Northeast Regional Championships hosted by University of Pennsylvania over the weekend.

Three Highlanders – Shalom Salvi, Laura Wipfli and Arina Babkova competed in the singles main draw Saturday evening. 

On Saturday, doubles pairs Laura Wipfli/Irene Cocero and Paula Menendez Alvarez/Arina Babkova won each of their first round doubles matches.

The Highlanders tandem of Laura Wipfli/Irene Cocero and Paula Menendez Alvarez/Arina Babkova fell in the second round doubles matches on Sunday.
